Putra Mosque Main Prayer hall has a simple and attractive design. It is very wide and instead of walls, it has twelve pillars in it. The prayer hall in Level G is able to accommodate up to 8000 male members and Level 1 is able to accommodate up to 2000 female members at a time. Other than 5 times prayers activities, main Prayer Hall in Level G is also used for other activities organized by Putra Mosque and outside agencies. The activities are ‘Solat Sunat Hajat’, ‘Majlis Bacaan Yasin’, ‘Tahlil’ and ‘Doa Selamat’, ‘Tazkirah’/lecture on religion, wedding ceremony (Majlis Pernikahan) and other activities that are suitable to be carried out in Mosques.
